Rian Johnson’s short film Ninja Ko, The Origami Master. A relic from high school circa 1990, saved from a dusty shelf of VHS tapes.

Rian Johnson interviewed by Jason Reitman on February 28, 2012, as part of the series Speaking of Movies at Harvard-Westlake School. Reitman, director of Thank You for Smoking, Juno, Up in the Air, and Young Adult, graduated in 1995 from Harvard-Westlake. The series is produced by Video Art teachers Cheri Gaulke and Kevin O’Malley at Harvard-Westlake in Studio City, California.
Congrats @rianjohnson on bringing home the DGA eagle! Couldn’t have happened to a better guy or a better show
